Judy, it’s a long trail from Irvine, CA to the Druck family from Hellam Township but my genealolgy research has led me to George Druck (1714-1792) so my interest in your book is very high. A quick summary of the branch from me to George is as follows: Bob > Lila Best > Iva Belle Druck > John E. Druck > John G Druck > John Druck > George (Jr) Druck > George Druck. Iva Belle Druck married Lester Vernon Best in 1911 so as I worked the Best branch I ended up with early Best pioneers in Bucks/Northampton (Jeremiah Best) county, then on the Centre County, then Stephenson County, IL where the Druck and Best families started to click.

I would appreciate it if you would send me information on where to buy your book. Also, as my wife and I are planning on being in Hellam for a short time on Sunday, October 11 so if there’s a local place to buy that would be great. (We’re using a week’s vacation to visit PA for the first time and to try to get a feel for both the Best and Druck ancestors who lived there when the country was so young (add in my interest in the French and Indian War period of American history and you can imagine how fast the week will go.
